On the morning of Mar. 18 th , 2009, the municipal party committee and municipal government of Shenzhen held the work meeting for Shenzhen peasants, which is also the 4 th awarding ceremony for new comers to Shenzhen and home for new comers to Shenzhen. The member of standing committee of Shenzhen municipal party committee, administrative deputy mayor, leader of the peasants-serving group, Mr. Li Feng, attended the meeting and gave an important speech. The deputy leader of the peasants-serving group, the chief director of the labor and social insurance bureau, Mr. Guan Lingen awarded the prizes to the representatives. The serving peasants’ group, 34 enterprises and institutions, 10 national representatives of farmers with good performance, 58 Guangdong representatives of farmers with good performance, and more than 300 people who were awarded “ outstanding new comers to Shenzhen to Shenzhen” in the last years, all gathered together to enjoy this moment.  

 

At the meeting, our company was awarded “the 4th section of Home for New Comers to Shenzhen”, which was a high praise and great encourage to the staff of our company who were new comers to Shenzhen. After the meeting, the representative of our company, director of president’s office, Ren Zhigang received the interview of the urban channel of Shenzhen TV station. He introduced the company’s efforts in helping the new-comer staff as well as our experience and achievements in this field.

 

Our company has attached great importance to the human-based management since several years ago. The company not only gave full play to the enthusiasm and creativity of the staff, but also paid a lot of attention to the family, working and living environment of them. In 2001, the company established its labor-union provided expenditure to it every year, which was used for organizing recreation activities for employers. On Sep. 2 nd , in the evaluation for “staff’s home”, which was organized by the general labor union of Shenzhen city, our company’s labor union was awarded the title. Sticking to regulations, the company not only buys medical insurance for all the staff, but also personal insurance for the staff in important positions. Besides, the company also arranges the staff to have physical examinations, provided subsidy assistance to those who are the only-child in the family and those marry late. During important festivals, allowances are also provided to those who have economic difficulties. In addition, the company also attaches great importance to staff training and a complete system has been set to help the staff make progress in careers.

 

Our company always advocates and sticks to the principle of “giving priority to laid-off workers and veterans” and tries to cope with their unemployment problem. In recent years, more than 1000 people’s unemployment has been resolved. In 2008’ s global financial crisis, many factories, companies and enterprises reduced salaries, laid off employers and even went bankrupt due to mismanagement. However, our company faced the crisis bravely, tried to deal with the challenge, and stick to the principle of “no salary reduction, no employers lay-off, no burden for the staff, for the government and for the society”. In spite of the financial crisis, the company never reduced the salary of any employer, neither laid off any employer; instead it bravely undertook its social responsibility and fulfilled its duty as a corporation.
