Indonesia International Daily made special report of the “ Going-Out ” Enterprises Projects Cooperation Conference held in Djakarta . 

(Reported by Indonesia International Daily) On Oct. 28 th , Shenzhen “Going Out Enterprise Projects Cooperation Conference sponsored by Shenzhen Economic Trade and Information Committee, organized by Shenzhen Association for the Development of Middle and Small Enterprises, co-organized by China Economic, Social and Cultural Cooperation Association was held in Djakarta. Xu Bu the ambassador of China in ASEAN, Chen Biao the Vice Mayor of Shenzhen, Rizal Lumley the Minister of the Ministry of Maritime Planning of Indonesia, Weng Junmin the Chairman of Chinese Committee of KADIN, Ji Huiqi the Chairman of Indonesian Chinese Chamber of Commerce, Ted Sioeng the Executive Chairman of Chinese Committee of KADIN and the Chairman of Indonesia Sioeng Group, Gao Lin the Vice President of Shenzhen Trade and Information Committee, Zhang Wubo from Shenzhen Association for Promotion of the Development of Small and Medium Enterprises. Gu Shaoming the Chairman of the Board of Directors and President of PT Bauing Construction Indonesia attended the conference.

All officials at the conference got together with entrepreneurs, sharing ideas with each other and having deep discussion about the development situation of Chinese “going out” enterprises in Indonesia , trade cooperation and cultural communication between Shenzhen and Indonesia . 

Minister Rizal Lumley said: Shenzhen played a pioneering role in Chinese reform, and a lot of successful reform experience of Shenzhen was worthy of learning. Currently, Indonesian government were pushing forward a series of favorable measures for investment and cooperation, promotion of economic development, including simplifying investment procedures, reforms of taxation and finances. This would provide wider space for future cooperation between Indonesian and Chinese enterprises in trade and tourism.

Chen Biao the Vice Mayor said in his address: recently, trade cooperation between Shenzhen and Indonesia has been scaling up. In 2014, the total volume of import and export trade was near 3.07 billion dollars. Till the end of 2014, Indonesia has invested 38 projects in Shenzhen. And there are 17 enterprises investing and establishing companies or institutions in Indonesia , with total investment amount of 68,850,000 dollars. In 2014, enterprises from Shenzhen participated in contracting of 16 projects and reached sales volume of 360 million dollars. A group of local enterprises such as Huawai, ZTE, Han’s Laser and Hytera has been rooted and grown in Indonesia . Chen hoped that through this conference, more and further trade cooperation between Shesnzhen and Indonesia could be achieved.
