At the invitation of Dr. Weng Junmin the charitarian, banker of Indonesia and chairman of China Committee of KADIN and president director of Mayapada Group and Dr. Ted Sioeng the well-known overseas Chinese leader, charitarian of Indonesia, goodwill ambassador of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Indonesia, secretary general of Indonesian China General Chamber of Commerce and the president of Sioeng Group, Gu Shaoming the chairman of the board of directors, Gu Pu the vice president of Bauing Group flied to Indonesia on Jan. 26th and began their 5 days’ business visit. It was reported that this was the first visit by Gu Shaoming to Indonesia since the establishment of PT Bauing Construction Indonesia, and the visit would further put Bauing Group’s business in Indonesia into practice.

On the morning of Jan. 27th, with the accompany of Ted Siong the president of Sioeng Group and Chen Zhiming the president of Indonesian Meizhou Association, Gu Shaoming the chairman and Gu Pu the vice president of Bauing Group visited Yu Yuling the chairman of Indonesian Fujian Association. During the visit, Yu said: the new Indonesian government put a high value on investment promotion, and thus pushed out one-stop service, simplified investment procedures and were vigorously developing infrastructure construction. Therefore, this was the best time to invest Indonesia. Yu had a special conversation about the decoration of the hotel with Gu Shaoming and Gu Pu and hoped his four luxury hotels could be decorated by Bauing Group. Yu expressed his expectations of Bauing’s dashing performance in Indonesia and great contribution to the construction of Indonesia.

In the afternoon, with the accompany of Ted Sioeng and Chen Zhiming, Gu Shaoming and Gu Pu visited Indonesian China General Chamber of Commerce and got warm welcome from Chen Bonian the deputy chairman, Xie Hua’an and Zhou Boda the chairmen of Supervisory Committee, Yang Xiuzhen the honorary chairman, Lian Jiehao the deputy chairman, Xie Yinglong the secretary general, Wang Zhenkun, Chen Yongzhi, Chen Shedong, Chen Yijing, Liao Youqing the chairmen of the Council of China General Chamber of Commerce in Indonesia. Chen Bonian said in the welcome meeting: Indonesia were vigorously pushing reforms and developing national economy in recent years and had made brilliant achievements in democratic progress and nation building. China and Indonesia have been in friendly terms all along and the bilateral trade has exceeded 66.2 billion dollars. And it was convinced China and Indonesia would have wider cooperative space in the future.

On the morning of Jan. 28th, Gu Shaoming and his group were received by Insmerda Lebang the general of the armed forces of Indonesia and special assistant of the minister of the Ministry of Public Security. Lebang extended warm welcome to the investment and development of Bauing Group in Indonesia. Lebang said he had visited Shenzhen in 2012 and gave high praise of the rapid development of Shenzhen and expected that Bauing Group could bring the advanced building design and construction technology to Indonesia, and make contributions to the development of Indonesia. Lebang especially hoped that Bauing’s works can be seen in the venues of the Asian Games held in Djakarta in Indonesia in 2018.

On the afternoon of the day, Gu Shaoming, Ted Sioeng, Gu Pu and the group was warmly received by Illman Guzman the chairman of the Council of Local Representatives of Indonesia, and they had a friendly talk. During the talk, Gu Shaoming introduced the general situation of Bauing Group to Illman Guzman, as well as its smart home, smart city, venues of Asian Games and e-commerce and other businesses that Bauing planned to develop in Indonesia. Illman Guzman extended his welcome to Bauing’s investment and development in Indonesia and said Indonesia government was expanding public infrastructure construction, which meant a lot of business opportunities. Indonesia government and the congress would give strong support to Bauing Group. At last, Illman Guzman wished Bauing Group a complete success in Indonesia.

On Jan. 29th, Gu Shaoming and his group visited Dr. Weng Junmin the president director and Hendra Mulyono the president of Mayapada and had a cordial talk with them. Dr. Weng extended his welcome to Bauing Group to invest and develop in Indonesia and hoped Gu Shaoming could lead more Chinese entrepreneurs to develop in Indonesia. He said Mayapada would provide them strong support in project cooperation and financing and build “China Dream” and “Indonesia Dream” together.

On the morning of Jan. 30th, Gu Shaoming and his wife Wu Yuqiong and the group arrived in Pontianak with Ted Sioeng, and were received by Connelly the governor of Western Kalimantan and his wife Fetter Lijia and Huang Hanshan the vice-governor. After hearing a detailed introduction of the general situation of Bauing Group by Gu Shaoming, Connelly extended his welcome of China enterprises to invest in Western Kalimantan and jointly develop the rich natural resources and build public infrastructure. The vice governor reminded the enterprises to handle work permission and avoid contradicts with the Immigration Office and relevant institutions. The group also visited Westin Hotel and industrial plants of Wajok of Sioeng Group in Pontianak.
