Bauing Group and Guangdong University of Foreign Studies formally signed the Cooperation Agreement today. Both sides agreed to jointly establish leadership team for university-enterprise cooperation, establish cooperation joint conference system, and agreed that Bauing would be the cooperative member of the Collaborative Innovation Center of 21 st Century Maritime Silk Road , the first private enterprise among cooperative members. Both sides will cooperate closely from six aspects, including jointly establishing Bauing Master Class and cultivating high-end composite talents; creating international talent communication base; cultivating youth entrepreneurs for countries along the Maritime Silk Road; jointly making researches on laws, rules and regulations of countries along the Maritime Silk Road and hold high-grade international conference; and jointly pushing forward cultural communication activities among countries along the Maritime Silk Road; holding international conferences among countries along the Maritime Silk Road and developing overseas joint investigations.

On Nov.6 th , 2015, on the 50 th anniversary of the founding of Guangdong University of Foreign Studies, both sides formally held signature ceremony in the Guest Hall of Administration Building of Guangdong University of Foreign Studies as the schedule set forth before.

An Agreement by and between Bauing Group and Guangdong University of Foreign Studies Indicated A New Pattern of National Strategy of “ One Belt and One Road ”

At 8: 20 a .m., the signature ceremony for University-Enterprise Cooperation was formally open, and He Chuantian the Vice President of Guangdong University of Foreign Studies hosted the ceremony. First Zhong Weihe the President made an address. He said: recently, it was fruitful for the University. Upon the 50 th anniversary of founding, many alumni got together and came back to the University. And on this occasion, the University-Enterprise Cooperation was established. He expressed his appreciation to the support of Bauing Group to education of foreign languages. The University would cooperate with Bauing and under the national strategy of “ One Belt and One Road ” create new education mode for talents cultivate and work on social services for a bright future.

Gu Shaoming the Chairman of the Board of Directors first congratulated the 50 th birthday of Guangdong University of Foreign Studies. He said, Guangdong University of Foreign Studies has been based in Guangdong and serving the whole world. It set its own banner in talent cultivation, especially cultivation of talents for foreign languages and foreign trade and has been the most outstanding representative in South China . It also got high recognition from employers. The University pioneered in establishing the Collaborative Innovation Center of the 21 st Century Maritime Silk Road , with Zhao Yufang the Vice Governor of Guangdong Province as the director. The Center is missioned to provide decision basis for the building of national One Belt and One Road as well as guidance for going-out enterprises. Bauing Group is at its overseas expansion, especially in Indonesia . With its stable development in all aspects, it is demanding talents of foreign languages and foreign trades, and theoretical and policy support from scientific research institutions. On the practice of national strategy of One Belt and One Road , Bauing and Guangdong University of Foreign Studies share many common points and complementarities. Therefore, the establishment of the cooperation between Bauing and Guangdong University of Foreign Studies is quite favorable to both sides.

After addresses made by both sides, to express his wish to the 50 th anniversary of the founding of Guangdong University of Foreign Studies, Gu Shaoming the Chairman of the Board of Directors presented the tablet written with 明德尚行, 学贯中西 (the motto of Guangdong University of Foreign Studies which means moral integrity, exemplary behavior, and conversance with both Eastern and Western learning) by Zhou Guocheng the Chairman of Guangzhou Artist Association as a gift and also a respect for remarkable achievements made by Guangdong University of Foreign Studies in the 50 years.

Bauing Industrial Group Donated 20 Million Yuan to Guangdong University of Foreign Studies for Education Development  

After the signature ceremony, Gu Shaoming the Chairman on behalf of Bauing Industrial Group donated 20 million yuan to Guangdong University of Foreign Studies for education development.
