On August 30, The Hon Michael Gunner MLA,Chief Minister of the Northern Territory paid a visit to Bauing Group with his delegation.


The Northern Territory is a federal Australian territory in the central and central northern regions of Australia, taking up around 20% of total Australian area. The Northern Territory's economy is largely driven by animal husbandry, mining, tourism and government service. Northern Territory now leaps into the front ranks in Australia in terms of economic growth, commercial investment, employment and architectural engineering, with its economic growth far exceeding the average level of whole Australia.



Gu Pu,vice president of Bauing Group introduced to Minister The Hon Michael Gunner MLA and his delegates the strategic layout and development direction of Bauing Group in Australia. He pointed out that private companies in recent years are stepping up in expanding their market overseas and Bauing Group is one of them enjoying the fast growth in international business and overseas market. Bauing Group has been seeking cooperation opportunities in Australia to expand market shares in the country. He was looking forward to see the two parties achieving win-win cooperation in North Territory under the framework of “unity, mutual assistance and sharing ”.

Minister The Hon Michael Gunner MLA spoke highly of the overseas achievements Bauing Group have made in recent years. He said, many Chinese companies has already came to North Territory for development and many Cantonese people live in Australia. The two people get along very well. He was highly in support of Bauing Group to expand business in North Territory and was very optimistic about the bright future of cooperation opportunities between two parties.

 

During the communication, Mr Gu Pu discussed Chinese tea culture with Minister The Hon Michael Gunner MLA, and the Minister introduced the Cantonese’s living condition and the development of Chinese culture in Australia. The Minister also recommended a number of projects available for cooperation. The two parties also exchanged three representative gifts of local custom and culture to each other.
